Tinctures

Concentrated herbal extracts preserved in alcohol. Traditional wellness preparations valued for their potency and long shelf life.

What Are Tinctures?

Tinctures are liquid herbal extracts made by soaking herbs in high-proof alcohol (typically 80-100 proof vodka or grain alcohol)
for several weeks. The alcohol pulls out the medicinal compounds from the plant material, creating a concentrated extract
that’s easy to dose and has a shelf life of 3-5 years.

Tinctures are taken in small amounts (typically 20-60 drops) diluted in water or juice. They’re valued in herbalism
for their convenience, potency, and preservation of both water-soluble and alcohol-soluble plant compounds.
